Oi Man Sang is one of Hong Kong’s oldest dai pai dong, serving local street food in Sham Shui Po since 1956. Hong Kong Food and Environmental Hygiene Department has ceased renewing dai pai dong licences, making these iconic open-air street stalls an increasingly rare sight. As of July 2024, only 17 dai pai dong remain in Hong Kong, a sharp decline from 25 in 2014.
